Start before the season does
In Marbella and Puerto Banús, the weeks before summer are the busiest of the year for cleaners, builders and pool companies alike. Booking your pre-season clean early means you choose the date instead of taking what's left.
A villa that has been closed for the winter usually needs more than a routine clean: dust in cupboards, stale air and air-conditioning that hasn't run for months.
Air conditioning and air flow
Before the heat arrives, clean the AC grilles and check the filters, so the first hot day doesn't blow a winter's worth of dust into the rooms.
Air every room thoroughly, and check bedrooms that haven't been used, where humidity can leave a musty smell in mattresses and wardrobes.
Kitchen and linen
Empty and wipe the inside of every kitchen cupboard, and clean the oven and fridge inside. Check dates on anything left in the pantry.
Wash linen and towels that have been stored for months, even if they were clean when put away — they pick up a stored smell. Linen wash and change is available as an add-on when a dryer is available at the villa.
One complete clean, nothing extra
Every Lavanda visit includes the inside of cupboards, the oven and the fridge, AC vents and grilles, and interior windows. Longer villa cleans are done by a two-person team, so the standard holds in every room.
